Heya I'm Saigo. One of the german player had give me this link. He means that you guys give me some help, if i show a replay.

Beschreibung: Ok. Sorry guys my english is in an bad mood, but i hope you will understand what i'm try to discribe. I need some help, because i'm playing since/for one week. I think you know this player here. His name is Schlachtrind. I had one exciting, for me, game vs him. I'd try to play vs Orcs vs banshees. of course you will see that i'd done a lot of mistakes in the beginning but please try to give my some tips to my playstyle. He had played a wonderful shootarush, or something like that. He was a little bit surprised that i play banshees.

well, i should train my skill in english, but i'm a little bit lazy about that.
I understand some german but not much - sorry guys. Some sentences i can write and understand. Would be better if you would answer in english.

Ok some tips and tricks, or how u call it would be nice!!!!

How is bloodriver called in german?

I'd to copy the temp.rec i think the replayname is the name of the game. Schlachtrind had host the game.

The german translation of bloodriver is "Blutfluss" :).

Your english is not bad , my englisch is worse :>.

Blood River is Blutfluss in german.

Hmm I'm gonna watch the replay soon, but I am whether a eldar or an orc player.

Hmm...

I`m not good with eldar but ranger are a waste of ressources in every matchup

Most Eldar plays Reaper against orks, but it was funny XD
I would have payed a million dollar to see Schlachtrinds reaction in the moment he realized that you starts with banshees^^

Hm I think your biggest mistake was being to much defensiv.
You had two Bansheesquads and you didn't attack or reinforce them.
So Schlachtrind, yes we know him well, could destroy important thinks of your base without loosing his troops.
In the third minute you should have reinforce the two Bansheesquads, upgrade one of the LPs and attack the Orks with your hero, guards and Banshees. Together with the LP fire you had beaten him in the early game and banshees have a high building damage, so kicking some Waaaghbanner of the Ork is no problem for them.
But still a nice game.

oh nice to see you again ran|m0wlwurf. yeah i'd talk to schlachtrind when we played, i think you'll see the log in the replay, right? Ranger are a little bit to expensive or to weak. But i like it to use units with infiltration. and yeah the japanese tradition is the way of the samurai and i like this way. Reaper are so boring, but do you think I will need them, if i want to win vs ork?

Hmn ok i will try to edit my post. so you see which map we'd play.

I hate the english tenses(?)!

Edit: Oh i'd read you post only now. Yeah you are right with your answer Spitter. I should play more agressive and need an better overview. Need to reinforce sooner.

first
try to play 3 worker bo, one worker to scout our enemy
push the ork back into the river, ork units are crap with negative cover!
save ur guards from the ork shoota boys
upgrade ur listening posts, and dance around the lp, thats quite good against ork
cap with ur guards, they dont do enough damage against buildings
dont walk into a ork base, unless u got some firedragons
RANGER SUCK! :>

ohh nice that you like my playing style :). Just/Only the eldars got female squads thats one reason more for me to play them and they use great swords. But i have to say that i like the way, who the orcs are fighting in this game. Possibly i will try to play orcs.

and i just walk in the orcbase because i'd think he hasn't greatup his LP. I think if the lp would have been t1 i could kick him. But than i'd seen the grotz, yeah you call them grotz, aren't you (?), and i had to move back, because i didn't get the thunder of my priest.

Hmn rangers aren't bad on big maps, i think. But they expensive ... a bit tooooo expensive :[

but hard to play

but there wasn´t only one lp, 3 buildings have shot at your units
thats too much, even for eldr

yes they are called grotze
i think rangers will be better after the 1.5 patch
but atm they are to weak, or to expensive, or whatever

youre biggest mistake was that you wantet a basetrade vs schlachtrind
the ork buildins shot and you had to fall back
if you attacked the army in youre base with the banshees or looted away from youre buildings, his army would not get big enough to reach a critikal point where you can not win against the mass of orks
youre micro was quite good i think for 1 week of playing^^
better than mine and i play since the end of last year online <.<

ithink i wouldn't got t2 ive i played this game-.-

Hey Saigo,

welcome to our site. Was a really nice match, which i enjoyed!

1.
I don't think that Banshees are a good solution against ork, until they have CoW (Call of War). Especially on Blood River, where my entire base is on little ground, it's hard to attack the orc-base.

2.
You lost ur guardians too early, try to save them next time.

3.
This Ork-Rush, especially on this map is really tough to defend, even for some good players, so u really made a good job. Keep on playing and you gonna improve fast!

no it isnt, just upgrade ur lps
and then some tower dancing = gg no re
ork shoota rush isnt so strong on bloodriver

Imo it's reall strong, cause if u invest ur req/plasma into ur LP's u won't get enough units out and LP2 can be quiet easily kicked by BM + shootas

Oh guys you are all soooo cute. I mean you all are answer in englisch Thank you. At the moment i learn much german in school and some friends here are german too. So i understand some german words. But its very cute and so we are all learning to write in english.

I will try to train today a little bit. This game makes so much fun! Its great so thank you all =D

Edit: I'll have a look throug your forum, because i understand some german words, if I had say thousand times before.

It´s an introduction in the general way to play eldar. All kind of troops are explained and u can find some tactics vs different opponents.

And by the way the thread is written by one of the sexiest (loel!) eldar players alive.

I'm not the frist user, who is speaking english. Santiago sometimes read your texts too and some other peoples.
But i want to get help and the german community is, at DoW, the biggest I think.

I from Kakogawa but will study in germany. After summer I will study in "Heidelberg". My teacher told me that i get there a good development. But thats not important , because i will have fun with DoW, now and want to be better!!!!!!

hiho,

first of all i support schlachtrind. Shootarush is very strong on bloodriver. There aren't a lot of oppotunitys to survie it

I played quiet a few matches against Schlachtrind in this matchup. I was only able to defend my base when i knew that he will rush without building a generator.

2 worker build the aspect portal. When the asprect portal ist 2/3 ready order the second worker to start the generator. So you have enough energy to build farseer first an develop "floot of feet" after yor second guardian.

with Farseer, 2 guardiansqauds(1 full reinforced, 1 constantly reinforced to 5 members), 1 dark reaper sqaud with excarch.

This is what you need. To reach this you will need, good guard micro, and effectiv use of the farseer's spells.

But it remains a very hard competition. Mabye is saved the replays defending this rush.

p.s.: If schlachtrind gets an advantage, try to fear him with sensless sentences like "i know where you are" or "you'll neverwin with your luck-only-tactic" it works perfectly
