Ok, nice game Some thoughts:
Putting pressure on Necrons is the right idea, so that he can't get critical mass, yes. However because of that I kinda dislike Storm Boyz for that since they are a CC unit - Focus Firing becomes important when you wanna wipe out Warrior Squads, since it actually hinders his tech and pretty much everything if he has to replace his warrior squads.

Also, most of the killing was done by the Big Mek, the Stormboyz dont seem very effective vs Warriors pre PoG.

On to the game itself, I think you should have pressured his Lord alot more in the start, or is this totally wrong?

IF this bug is fixed, since it has existed since WA and they didn't even bother to fix it for DC release, seems a little strange to me
Anyway, great job winning over Tau as Orks, both Croons (I like to call Crons with dual O:s just to refer to the "noob" ) and Tau give Orks alot of trouble.

Fear is a bad map, since it has an uncontested thermo, and also since the middle only can be dared to be used by jump and teleport units.
It becomes like Fallen City, it will often be a basetrade because you don't have the time to turn back

But doesn't Necron Warriors tear both Falcons, Vypers, Land Speeders and all other kinds of light vehicles up real fast?

Then again, now that I think of it, DoWpro has actually used the same version for quite some time now. I've fallen back on that again, and then we'll see when the next patch for DC comes.

Well done finding strats worth doing vs Necrons.

I thought Eldar vs Necrons was the hardest matchup. Then again, there is the turretrush so maybe not.

He's NOT worth it... too expensive like I said...

Could he at least be summoned from an aspiring champion.. he MIGHT be useful when used correctly.. because he has great regen and kill anims almost every kill, and breaks morale very effective..

I guess that kinda is the problem of DC... both Tau and Necrons are like.. well we are ze Tau, we have huge firepower and range, but are kindof weak in Close combat...
So therefor we get Kroot! Who can jumo like 3 inches on screen, eats corpses to get more HP and just kicks ass ?

Necron are like, well Hi, we have LOTS of Firepower and LOTS of hitpoints, however we are real slow. Oh but don't worry, because we have a teleport spell, a teleporting spellcasting Lord, and deepstriking cheese CC units.

Well.. I kinda got fed up with DoWpro because of all the updating and shit.. Don't get me wrong it owns everything Relic has ever done.. But sometimes I just feel that it's hard to get a grip on the updates. And that makes you feel outside and you don't get to enjoy the mod for all it features, because you barely know half of them.

Well, imo against a equally skilled Tau you have BIG problems Tier 1.
Your best bet is to go 3x Guardian + FS, and chase stealth teams, and trying to Focus Fire whatever you can. What I mean is, try to hit his early game/econ HARD.
Kill that first unreinforced FW squad, Focus Fire the Tau Commander when he gets overconfident. It's in no ways a fair matchup.. But it can be beaten I guess.

Oh and on Vespid Harass.. Good Lord.. I don't know. TBH I can't actually bother to come up with something resonable to do versus Tau, we need a patch in like a month I'd say

I'm sorry Tokreal, have you actually played against good crons and tried using HWTs ? The Necron Lord will teleport in and cast that "Harr harr Your army is blind"-pwnzor spell and then they will have to waste years to undeploy, run away and redeploy.

The kroot rush is so-so. In my experience, basicly what it does is just stalling, until the Tau can tech up and finally move in for the kill (The Patient Hunter I guess is they way of the Kroot after all )

I think vs SM Tier 1, Tau wins over SM, no chance given to SM at all. With Tau Commander and Fire Warriors and the right micro, Tau owns FC + Tacs.
However it quickly changes, when ASM enters the building. Unless you have more FW squads than he has ASM squads, given that your micro is equal, he will win.
I don't know what Tau has to do to win over ASM? I tried out Kroot but they wouldn't do much damage, however they kinda clogged the ASM up so I could outmicro him.

After some testing, Kroot builds with somekind of support from Stealth suits is very messy to deal with as Eldar. Key probably lies in correct timing of Farseer and plasma nades..

The HWT is actually useless in highlevel gaming. Any smart player will outmicro it and easily kill it, and it cost's insanely much. Also the upgrades for them take too long.
It's too much lottery to use them...
