I Like the DP. He´s a better "great" unit, that the Bloodthirster.
He has just 5k HP, but he don´t loses them all the time, and he has good regeneration.
The DMG is ok, and he´s a very fast guy.
But i misslike that you don´t have the CL at the same time and that he hasn´t got the CL aura with + 20% dmg.
but when i see the other new units for the other races, the DP isn´t that good.
Orkz with their flash gitz. These Guys are incredible nice. DMG DMG DMG 
The Eldar with their Harlequin. I dont like this guy, but he´s very good dmg dealer and it´s heavy to get much shoots at him.
The Imps with their HWT...oh i like this guys, nice animations, high range and much DMG. perfekt units for imps 
And the SM have their new CC Unit, the grey knights. Now, this guys i haven´t played much yet, but what i have seen is shit. It´s the only unit, that is in my opinion more useless than the DP. Mostly they die very quick and don´t get much dmg out.
but I don´t know, if this is the general opinion 
maybe the GK rock in other situations, but i don´t like them
well and i heard that the DPs is losing against a squad of GKs quite fast....
so i dont know whos more useless

I gonna start DC now and will test both units under the same circumstances.

hm, ok...
both Units don´t take much DMG, but both Units have nice DMG.
Both Units Have nice abilities (demon roar and this psychic attack).
The DP keeps the Aura he had as CL (yay).
It seems me, that the GK have use from bionics.
The DP must be researched new after he dies 
He costs way too much...
but is it of any importance in a tier4 game....

well then i might call this unit as i pronounced before the release ...quite useless in normal mp-gaming
Could he at least be summoned from an aspiring champion.. he MIGHT be useful when used correctly.. because he has great regen and kill anims almost every kill, and breaks morale very effective..
but he cant right ? and the CL gives 20% morge damage to all ur units 0_o
well i guess i'll just test him myself and see if could be worth it
He's NOT worth it... too expensive like I said...
And he loses his Damge-Aura he had as CL. I'm quite sure about that...
So i agree. To expensive. Will hopefully be fixed because beside of effectivnes it's a uber cool unit that fits very well to chaos...

First of all I'm not a Chaos player. I think the DP is a nice unit because he's so damn annoying, if you don't focus your fire on him he's gonna mess your army up, not kill or destroy it just mess it up, and that's quite annoying. I think if you have the res. that he's a great unit, but otherwise try to avoid him till later in-game, a late T3, for example, would be a good place to summon him I think
