Hey there, this is my latest 2on2 map. It's quite simple and i had some great great games on it already.
The concept is simple, 3 save strategic points, 1 not to safe in the small river in front of the base and the relics as well as the strategic points on a centered line to fight for. The slags lie between teambases and open up an alternative attack route to the enemy bases.
The center is full of craters with heavy cover, what makes it easier for teammates to aid themselves. The trees you see are no obstacles, just for decoration.
The concept is easy, if i'm under attack and my mate sends units to help me, he is by default in heavy cover, which gives him an advantage over the attacker and makes it easier to just send some units over without caring "that much". Or, if he aids me in an attack at my side, he's also in heavy cover. So the focus on the teammate and his help is a little higher, and a little easier for him.
Still the first 1on1s on each side are very important. Everyone tries to keep the enemy from taking his river strategic as well as the relic, which is just a great aid in an attack on a base. The small river in front of each base is negative cover, which makes attacks more interesting and defending a bit easier. Still you can't just camp in your base, because you won't get the relic and the crits that way, also the center conquerer is standing in heavy cover.
