S2 is best!
Hey Everyone,
I wanted to give you guys a status report on Heroes of Newerth. It's been almost 4 weeks since we went retail and we've seen steady growth and a consistent increase of players (with no signs of slowing down). At S2 Games things haven't slowed down either. We've released a few patches, one of which contained a new hero that our community was demanding for a long time. You'll instantly recognize Bubbles and his ability to toss his shell, teleport, silence, and crowd control team fights! If you haven't had a chance to play him, you're definitely missing out.
We're currently testing the upcoming patch which will be released in the next few days. This patch will contain several new features & changes as well as the new Legion strength hero everyone's been waiting for! Tundra and his 2 pets will be familiar to most of you and they will be making an appearance very shortly.
2 new heroes is just the beginning, the players have made their voice heard and we will continue to bring all of your favorite heroes to the game, ARGGG matey. *hint hint*
A new feature we're currently putting the finishing touches on is the "Report A Player" function in-game. We have set up a system of rules for conduct in-game and will strictly enforce those rules through the community policing itself. We will mercilessly be cleaning up the behavior of our community; the past trend of griefing and abusing players will stop through player reports, reviews of game logs/replays, and suspensions (and bans if necessary) for extremely inappropriate behavior.
