Things are starting slowly

  • So, as we launched the international dow.de section, things are starting slowly. the international forums start getting content over time, but as we all have real lives to take care of (some more, some less :P ), everything runs quite slowly, or lets say chilled ^^

So, don't be afraid to start a thread or talk to each other about Darc Crusade or something else. Help us improve everything by commenting into the feedback forum or simply post a funny picture in the fun section.

Just feel like you are at home ^^

  • Mhhh,

I think that you are right but this subject is maybe unimportant, because everybody know that he can feels like a bird. (nice relation) :P

But listen to Listoric you are here not as a visitor you are here as a member. Romantic speech! ;)

  • Maybe we should merge some category groups from the German page to improve the activity. For example replay or fun section etc. The thread would just start with the chosen languagey by the author.

    What do you think?

  • mhm seems so, i think u're right helvetic, we'll have a look for that.

  • It is quite interesting how things have changed over time and gamers are getting younger and younger. I really started playing on the internet when I was sixteen and everyone was using ISDN (8 years ago).

Back then almost everybody you met on the net was capable of speaking english, but as I noticed in the german forums, that has changed very much. An interesting new problem for me, which I am just beginning to notice...

  • i think the only difference is, that the average age of online gamers was higher than it is now. 11 year olds "pwn" in Counterstrike now, but as i started there was noone younger than 16. At least that's what it felt like. We were all a bunch of "old" gamers all the time, and younger ones joined our online gaming community.

At least that's what i think.

  • After reading this post i feel quite comfortable with my uber english skills :P

Beeing an active part of the german DoW Community has some great rewards. As we are nearly the biggest eSport faction in Dow some internatinal players might want to join us to become more well known overall.
Recognition in onlinesession is what makes the game even more enjoyable :)

  • Dow.de is definitly the place to be for the esports aspect of the game. Unfortnatly my with my current 56k connection I can't get online during European game times. So ESL is out of the question for me at this time.

56k connections are still existing in the USA? Poor you -.-

@ Topic: To be honest. The start was worse then expected and we still need to improve several things like the frequency of our news just as the announced shoutcast feature. We are working on it.
