Now, I know there have been 2 attempts already to establish a DoWs IRC channel, both futile.

The reason the first two attempts failed is simple, people joined, saw that there are only 10 players online and instantly disconnect again.
2 Minutes later another player does the exact same thing.
For gods sake, if you decide to join the IRC channel, stay!
Dont log out after 10 seconds right away.
Quakenet is the most used IRC network, so I guess we should go establish a channel on Quakenet.
I started a channel on #dow-sanctuary
For those of you who dont know what IRC is, its a huge chat network.
Go to http://www.mirc.com]http://www.mirc.com and download the client.
You can test the client for free first.
Lateron the client will try to make you believe you have to buy a copy to use it further, but you can just wait 10 seconds after you started the program and you can use it just as you used to.
Once you started the client, fill in a nickname, email address (doesnt have to be a real one tongue.gif) and choose Quakenet - random server.
Now you can connect.
Once connected type /join #dow-sanctuary and your in.
Get this going people !
An IRC channel would be awesome for getting in games and chatting with other players about tactics, strategies and balance.
