Soulstorm hotfix in the works...

well some have the problem that the computer doesn`t recognize the soulstorm dvd, so it would be indeed quite cool to put that in a patch...

(i myself have to put in the soulstorm dvd several times until my pc recognizes the dvd)

I waited patiently for a few days, and im happy that a new hotfix is in the line of sight!

PRAISE THE POWER OF THE "WIR SIND DAS VOLK!"

Hopefully we can download this hotfix after a week and not in 7 mounths

that would be expected too much

but it is just a hotfix >.> so may be 2 weeks should be enough

we get extern downloadlinks this time?

Great to hear something from relic so soon. Nicely done. If they can release the fix within a week or two relic is on a good way to awesomeness again

Keeping in mind that the problems responsible for the former patch delay are now obviously solved, its "just" writing the code and doing whatever relic thinks of the term QA for a week and a half.

So early November may really be reasonable

I remember Jaimas and me writing something like that on relicnews after the release of Soulstorm too. Well bad luck relic was too busy with dow 2...

Maybe they outsourced the patch development to Somalia, so it could take a lil bit time to ship the result round Africa to Hamburg.

I would rather say reduce the sight range of ranger by 10 to fix this problem ;). Eldar should not have a walking critical location on T1. Enhance their sight range with first optics upgrade back to 40 for god's sake and to reduce eldar whine...

But it is not of the concern of this hot-fix for the cold-fix. Balance changes should be done in further pathes.
